Only burn candles on a level, fire resistant surface.
Trimming wicks before lighting ensures a clean and proper burn.
For cotton wicks, trim the wick to 1/4" before lighting. This can be done using a wick trimmer, scissors, or a nail clipper.
For wooden wicks, trim the wick to 1/8" before lighting This can be done by pinching off the charred wood with your fingers, using a wick trimmer, scissors or a nail clipper.
Soy wax has memory. To ensure your candle does not tunnel, always burn the candle until the melted wax reaches the edge of the container.
Do not burn your candle for more than four hours at a time and discard once you only have 1/4" of wax left.
Always burn within sight. Keep candles away from children, pets, fans, open windows, and flammable materials.
